How Open Studio collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the product.

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Open Studio collects and uses information when you visit our website, create an account, use chat and agent features, generate images, buy credits, or manage a subscription.

Do not submit highly sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your use of the service.

Information we collect

Account information, such as your name, email address, authentication status, profile details, and workspace settings.
User content, including prompts, chat messages, files, images, agent instructions, memories you choose to save, and generated outputs.
Usage and billing data, including model selection, usage events, credit ledger entries, subscription status, checkout status, and customer portal identifiers.
Support data, including emails sent to our support, bug, billing, or abuse addresses, ticket metadata, attachments you include, and replies from the support team.
Device, log, and security data, including IP address, browser information, timestamps, error logs, rate-limit signals, and fraud-prevention signals.
Cookie and product analytics preferences, including whether you accepted or rejected optional product analytics cookies.

How we use information

Provide, operate, secure, and improve the service.
Generate responses, run agent workflows, process image generation requests, and store conversation history when you use saved chats.
Measure usage, calculate credits, enforce plan limits, process payments, and support billing operations.
Respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Analyze product usage, performance, and reliability with optional product analytics cookies only when you choose to accept them.

AI processing and service providers

To provide AI features, we may send prompts, files, context, and related metadata to AI model services and infrastructure providers that process requests on our behalf.

For AI image generation, we may send the user-submitted prompt and an internal request identifier to safety and compliance providers, including Creem's Moderation API, before generation occurs.

Payment processing is handled by Creem. We do not store complete payment card numbers on our servers. Creem may process payment, tax, invoice, fraud-prevention, and subscription data under its own applicable terms and privacy practices.

We use Cloudflare Email Service to send transactional emails and to route support, bug, billing, and abuse emails into our support workflow.

We may also use hosting, database, analytics, logging, and security vendors as needed to operate the service.

Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies are used for authentication, security, locale preferences, and product operation.

Optional product analytics cookies help us understand product usage, performance, and reliability. We do not send chat content, prompts, generated content, emails, or user IDs to Google Analytics. You can accept or reject optional product analytics cookies using the cookie banner or the preference control on this page.

Data retention and deletion

We retain account, billing, usage, and content records for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security.

You may request deletion or export assistance by contacting support@openstudio.chat. Some records, such as invoices, ledger entries, security logs, and compliance records, may need to be retained where required by law or legitimate business needs.

Your choices

You can update account preferences in the product.
You can manage subscriptions and billing through the billing portal when available for your account.
You can reject optional product analytics cookies.
You can contact support to request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy assistance.

Children's privacy

The service is not directed to children under 13, and you must not use the service if you are not legally allowed to enter into these terms in your jurisdiction.

Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, legal requirements, or operational practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page.
